Transparency and valuations: up to 311% increase in Mont-Tremblant

While other municipalities publish average variations by sector, the Ville de Mont-Tremblant has not yet disclosed this data. We contacted the Ville Treasurer to obtain these details, but the Ville declined the direct inquiry and advised filing a formal access to information request. As a result, we conducted our own field study of sampled individual properties to identify specific impacts:

Exceptional increase: Domaine Saint-Bernard (311%) • Chemin Desmarais (143%) • Chemin de l’Ermite (99%)

Significant increase: Fairmont Tremblant (78%) • Rue Saint-Roch (63%) • Chemin de Brébeuf (51%) • Rue de la Colline (41%) • Chemin du Golf (35%)

Moderate increase: Chemin au Pied-de-la-Montagne (18%) • Chemin de la Plage-Vanier (15%) • Chemin du Village (14%)

Stability or decline: City Hall (4%) • LAGO: (2% decline)

Residents are encouraged to review their files and, if necessary, submit a review request before the April 30 deadline. Les Amis have also filed access to information requests with both the Ville and the MRC. More details will be provided in a future newsletter.
