Congratulations to Pascal De Bellefeuille of Ensemble Mont-Tremblant, the new mayor of Mont-Tremblant, as well as to all the elected officials, who will be sworn in on November 7th. The composition of the new municipal council is as follows:
Vision Mont-Tremblant: 5 councillors (districts 1, 2, 4, 5 and 7).
Ensemble Mont-Tremblant: 3 councillors (districts 3, 6 and 8).
Overview of Election Results:
Increased Turnout: Voter turnout increased slightly, rising from 48.4% in the 2021 election to 49.7%. This represents a total of 4,995 votes cast.
Lowest Participation: District 1 (Station Mont-Tremblant—lac Ouimet) had the lowest voter turnout, with a dismal 41.3%.
Closest Race: The tightest race took place in District 5 (Mont-Tremblant – centre nord), where Catherine Drouin was re-elected by a slim margin of only two votes.
