Les Amis de Mont-Tremblant and many citizens are concerned about the high number of requests for minor exemptions that are not so minor. Our non-profit organization has therefore mandated DKA, a firm specializing in urban planning, to identify best practices for addressing this issue.
We also sent a letter to the Ville.
Minor exceptions must remain exceptional to avoid circumventing regulations, especially given Mont-Tremblant’s rapid development. It is imperative that real estate projects be well designed, sustainable, and integrated into a clear regulatory framework.
Les Amis are confident that implementing the recommendations of the DKA report will significantly improve the transparency, fairness and efficiency of our minor exemption process.
