Firefighter Safety: Following a decision by the Commission d’accès à l’information, the Ville was ordered to transmit the factual and analytical sections of a 2023 report on health and safety in fire stations to the Association des pompiers et pompières de Mont-Tremblant, though the portion containing strategic recommendations remains confidential.
The Pay Equity Dispute: The Superior Court dismissed the Ville’s challenge, upholding a decision by the Tribunal administratif du travail (TAT) which required the municipality to include all of its employees—both unionized staff and managers—rather than just unionized employees in its pay equity maintenance exercise.
The Former Gray Rocks Hotel: The Ville has mandated experts to defend itself against a lawsuit for damages brought by a numbered company belonging to Cédric Grenon. Although the site was sold in 2025, this lawsuit filed in 2024—linked to the interim control freeze initiated in July 2023—remains fully active against the Ville and the MRC.
The Endless Lac Tremblant Saga (LAGO): Started in June 2020, this project—also owned by Mr. Grenon through two other numbered companies—remains under the protection of the Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act (CCAA). As of April 15, the total debt stood at $12,288,573, and this legal protection was extended until June 3, 2026, according to the court order issued on May 22.
