Versant Soleil: 500 or 880 units?

Club Med Québec Charlevoix (Petite-Rivière-Saint-François)

In 2022, Groupe Brivia was granted approval for 500 units in the Versant Soleil project. However, in 2025, a deal was announced with Club Med for 380 units. At the time, assurances were given that the total number of units would remain at 500, with 380 allocated to the hotel and 120 to the developer. However, based on what’s being said, it seems that the Club Med units (380) could be considered as being added to Groupe Brivia’s initial quota (500), which would bring the potential total to 880 units.

To shed light on the matter, we asked the Ville de Mont-Tremblant, Station Mont Tremblant, Club Med, and Groupe Brivia the following question:

“Can you confirm that the 300 hotel rooms and 80 employee units for this project will be deducted from Groupe Brivia’s approved quota of 500 units?”

Despite the public interest in this matter, none of the four organizations has provided an answer to our question. Our research continues, and in the coming days, we have a meeting scheduled with representatives from Club Med.
