On October 17, Frédéric Escotte, who was running for Vision Mont-Tremblant, withdrew from the municipal elections. Élise Léonard, candidate for Ensemble Mont-Tremblant, was elected without opposition in District No. 3.
Voters in this district can still participate in the elections by voting for a mayoral candidate.
Madame Léonard filed a complaint with the Chief Electoral Officer (DGEQ) and the Sûreté du Québec. Vision Mont-Tremblant published a statement on the matter.
