The Ville must listen to its citizens, more than to developers

Les Amis and the vast majority of residents of rue de la Colline oppose the 12-unit housing project proposed by the promoter. There are many large vacant lots in Mont-Tremblant that are already zoned for multi-family housing. These lots should be used first, rather than disrupting neighbourhoods currently occupied by single-family homes.
The upcoming City Council meeting on June 9th will tackle this matter. We are confident that the Ville will refuse the developer’s request, which would be excellent news for our community.

We have also received messages from residents of rue Anne-Désirée-Godin opposing the construction of six buildings with a total of 48 units on their street. For more information on this subject, we invite you to watch the public consultation held on June 2.
